He’s studying creative writing with a minor in business at a university in Missouri, which means his days are split between building worlds on the page and learning how to bring them to readers.

When he’s not writing, he’s usually deep in a book, testing his patience in strategy games, or training in Karate-Jitsu on the path to earning a black belt. That mix of imagination and discipline shows up in his work: big stakes, smart characters, and plots that like to zig when you expect them to zag. He lives near campus, where new ideas tend to show up at inconvenient times—usually right when he’s trying to sleep.
