Joshua Sparks is different, not just because his parents are dead, but because they created a chemical formula that enhances his physical capabilities far beyond regular humans.   One night, 16-year-old Joshua is pulled into the future and shown a horrifying world that is run by Gaea, an organization that has subjugated most of humanity. The rebel group that brought Joshua to this future then reveals the worst news of all.  The world Joshua now sees is all his fault.  Joshua, shocked and not 100% sure if he believes he could have caused this future, remembers what his father told him before he died, “When the time is right, make a difference.”  Joshua promises to do all in his power to help the rebels and deny Gaea.  Now he must travel back to his time and fight an unbelievably powerful foe, even though he has seen the future… and he knows there is no hope.
